So here's what happened, WE LISTENED! And we listened to almost everybody. When some man told us we should take in the edge of our sound.. we listened. When some man told us we shouldn't try to kick in doors where they have been closed.. we listened. When some man told us we should soften what we do.. we listened. When they tried to turn us into a "Corporate Worship Team".. we listened. When they questioned the very meaning of being a RENEGADE.. we listened. We kept on listening until no one cared anymore, and when we finally needed to hear from the ONE who told us to do this to begin with, HE didn't recognize us anymore and we couldn't hear HIM.

We Wont make that mistake again!!

Someone asked me the other day how I felt about R4G getting ready to close up shop and I said we're not closing down we're just moving on to the next natural step of where we're going. I think when we all look back our legacy will revolve mostly around the influence we had on other musicians and youth. I would like to think we should them that there's more then one way to accomplish anything. Just because the old school hasn't done it in the past, we showed how to break ground and forge ahead with your own vision. You just have to be strong enough when everyone comes against you. 4 years has been along time. We're looking forward to the shows we have left and have a great desire to go out strong. But this season has ended and a new one begins!!

    So I know, I know, we're sick of you coming on this blog and saying nothing. What happened to the old days? These blogs were full of spirit, sometimes vigor, sometimes they were full of something else, but they were always on the edge. When did the RENEGADES go corporate? Well I'm happy to say that keeping with the new "Let chris be Chris" philosophy, I'm sure we'll be getting back to offending people and saying things that of course you don't agree with. Changes are coming !!! Strap in and hold on or you may not be able to handle the ride.

So after 2 months of therapy, with massage and chiropractors and anyone else proding and poking my arm, it's time to get back to work. Thanks to the staff @ Health Horizons. My arm's not as bad as it was and not as good as it's gonna be but it'll have to do. Nuff Said

Isn't it funny, here we are in 2011 and we need to go back to 1969. Anyway R4G was starting to get on a good run. Bob was fitting in very nice, it was said the last gig was the best ever!!! then Chris had to hurt his arm. Well it's healing very nice and hopefully the band will get back out very soon. The good news is during the time away chris and the guys have reinvented themselves all over again. As a matter of fact there are 3 or 4 songs floating around for the next CD. Hopefully some doors will open again for us and here we go.....

What a title, How can I tell you what to expect when we don't even know half the time. after toying around with the idea of chris going back to guitar, we finally decided on adding a new guitar player, I know, we tried this before but this time i think we got it right. So welcome Bob to the fold. As you know we ended 2010 on a high and low note: we finished our 2nd CD "A Cord of 3" and we thank you so much for all the things you've told us about it, but we got turned down for Creation this year, oh well.

So where do we go from here? I'll tell you to the next level. You see one of the things we decided if since we're not a "Worship Team" anymore we're gonna stop acting like one. so we're going to have some of the swagger that we had in the beginning.

We're going to work on our next CD and I think that one will have mostly original material on it.

Other then that we have no clue, except to say you can expect the same noise, trouble and everything else you have come to enjoy.

Here's a question, why is it the churches we work for (not as R4G) have no idea how to use the band when every other church would love to have us?
Well in any case it's been a while since I blogged and alot has happened but in search of peace I didn't write any of it this time. However there is good news, we are in the process of recording our next CD finally, and I should have a better idea of when it will be done in a few days.

as 2010 goes by there is a difference tis year in what's going on. Maybe it's the fact I'm trying to be nice to people, nah!!!!! Wait I know, this time feels like a band, that's great but it doesn't feel like ministry anymore. There's something missing.... and I think I know what....

Season's come to an end, doors close and all things change. It is with sorrow and regret that we announce that both George and Tony are no longer with the Renegades. Change in priorities and what we want to accomplish have caused some changes. 
    
We would like to thank Tony for the short time he spent with us. His guitar added a level of energy that took us to another level.
    
George was a founding and loyal member of R4G and was there during some of the trials and tribulations that we went through in year one. At this time his focus is on his family and there's nothing wrong with that. It is with great thanks and love that we say Goodbye for now.

What a year. The NO APOLOGIES '09 tour went good. I can't say perfect, we seem to have annoyed alot of people along the way. That's ok we're not for everyone and we know that. We recorded the CD and then switched our sound. Tony was in tehn out then in then out and now he's a full Renegade.

There's a few things left for this year and we can't wait until 2010. Here's what we're talking about:
